Piplup 232 S-P PSA 9

The Piplup 232/S-P promo card debuted in Japan during the special “Project Piplup” campaign, which started on September 21, 2021. The campaign celebrated Piplup and introduced exclusive merchandise and limited promotional items.

The Pokémon Company distributed the promo card through several official channels across Japan.

Pokémon Center (Physical Stores & Online Shop)
Customers received one Piplup 232/S-P promo card when they made a qualifying purchase at a Pokémon Center store or through the Pokémon Center Online shop. The campaign limited the card to one per transaction while supplies lasted.

Bandai Namco Amusement Arcades
Players received the promo card after spending 300 yen on crane games at participating Bandai Namco amusement facilities.

Lawson Convenience Stores
Customers obtained the promo card when they purchased two eligible products at participating Lawson stores. This part of the campaign ran until September 27, 2021, or until stores ran out of stock.

The campaign team did not include the card in regular booster packs. They offered it only during the official Project Piplup promotion period.
