Story

Princess Peach is kidnapped by Bowser and taken to a distant area. Therefore, Mario and Yoshi must rescue her.

They travel across forests, deserts, and castles. Along the way, they face Bowser’s minions, including Shy Guys and Koopa Troopas. As a result, the duo must defeat enemies and overcome obstacles to reach Bowser.

Gameplay

Yoshi no Road Hunting is a first‑person rail shooter.

Players actively aim and shoot enemies using the Super Scope while Mario and Yoshi automatically move forward. Power‑ups appear during levels, helping players restore health or increase firepower.

Because movement is automatic, players focus on timing, aiming, and surviving enemy waves. Additionally, quick reactions are essential to clear each stage efficiently.

Modes

The game is single-player only.

Players progress through several worlds, each with a unique theme. At the end of each world, they battle bosses with stronger attacks and unique patterns. After defeating a boss, players unlock the next world, continuing the quest to save Princess Peach.

The game uses colorful 16-bit graphics typical of the Super Famicom.
